Using the Ola mobile app, users across 110 cities can book from over 6,00,000 vehicles across cabs, auto-rickshaws and taxis. Ola has also introduced a range of shared mobility services on its platform like Ola Shuttle and Ola Share for commute and ride-sharing respectively. The app is available on Windows, Android and iOS platforms. Roles and Responsibilities: - Leading Strategic Projects will have dual responsibilities of owning the Business planning and execution tracking as well as incubate critical new projects for the team - The Business planning function will be focused on building and continuously improving our forecasting tools, budgeting for cost and revenues and working within the revenue management team to identify and structure initiatives that will deliver this budget, and setting up a regular performance tracking system to ensure status of outcomes and projects are clear and unambiguous to all - The new projects will be outside-in and strategic in nature, and will require external benchmarking from similar / other industries, understanding business models and their applicability to our context, and will have a business impact goal - across one or more of customer growth, supply management and growth, pricing, loyalty, platform efficiency. - These projects will likely be cross-functional. So, the leader is expected to be good at problem definition, structuring, data gathering, hypothesis testing, cross functional stakeholder management and prioritizing for impact. Once identified, and structured, some of these projects could be run by other teams in the organization Experience & Skills: - The ideal candidate should have an MBA from a premier institute, 3-5 years of consulting experience in a top tier Management consulting firm, and 1-2 years of experience in strategic planning function at a large corporate
