Designation: Manager, Government Relations & Public Policy

Work Experience: 2-5 Years

As our Manager for Public Policy and Government Relations, you will represent OLA (ANI Technologies) externally with the government bodies at Central & State level, regulators and Industry Associations (like FICCI, CII, NASSCOM), as well as support in our public policy strategy and campaigns. You will work with a cross-functional team of OLA employees in India to project the corporate image with policy makers & Industry Associations.

Role Specific Responsibilities

- Track, research & Identify key changes and developments in relevant Legislation nationally & regionally.

- Create contact maps of different State Governments & Central Govt. Ministries. Make presentations, reports, white papers presentable to the Govt. bodies and industry associations like CII, NASSCOM, FICCI.

- Coordinate with different Govt. bodies (specifically with skill development related like NSDC, DGET etc. for drafting, sending & following up for the proposals).

Qualifications:

- Strong academic record with minimum of bachelors degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Direct experience working with government bodies, think tanks, public interest groups or the field of corporate public policy.

- Experience of preparing Govt. proposals, recommendations, knowledge report & presentations on varied subjects.

- Experience working in high-stress environments and a proven ability to exercise judgment even in a crisis.

- Excellent communicator with good interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as the ability to write well and translate complex issues into simple language that people who are not experts can understand.

- Self-starter with the ability to think, plan, and execute assigned tasks.

- Team player who can work with people from a broad range of backgrounds and experience, including leading campaigns and mentoring more junior members of the team.

Work area:

Our job is to do advocacy about the intervention of technology which is now changing the road surface transport scenario with the policy makers.

Technology moves quickly, so it's important that we work closely with regulators, academics and industry associations to help them understand the technology domain that affect the surface transport through technology intervention. OLA will soon touch a lot of public policy debates, so we're looking for quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious people to join our team.
