Category Launch:
- Identifying the right set of cities for the category
- Launching the category along with the city teams
- Creating the complete launch plan, including marketing activities and local operations
Category Definition:
- Defining and standardizing the category / product nationally
- Customizing the category for each city
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to understand the target audience for the category
- Creating a detailed specifications document for each category line
Category P&L:
- Work with the local teams in the existing cities to ensure the category is being delivered as per the plans
- Create a business roadmap (Revenue, Profitability) for the category at national and city level
- Ensuring the category is meeting its revenue and P&L targets
- Ensuring strong understanding of competition pricing and activities at city level
- Work with the Technology / Product team to build the right set of features / updates for the category
- Understanding the usage patterns and requirements of the category by studying the existing customers
- Driving innovative growth by identifying the gaps / new market segments
Category Marketing:
- Create detailed marketing plans for each category along with the respective teams at each city
- Work with the alliances team to build and execute on the right set of alliances that help reach the target for the category
Candidate’s Profile:
- 3+ years of experience in Sales / Marketing
- MBA from any Top Tier Management School
- Experience in e-commerce and / or having built and executed a brand is a plus
