Founded in Jan 2011 by IIT Bombay alumni Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati, Ola (formerly Olacabs), is India's most popular mobile app for personal transportation. Ola integrates city transportation for customers and driver partners onto a mobile technology platform ensuring convenient, transparent and quick service fulfillment. Ola is committed to its mission of building mobility for a billion people. Using the Ola mobile app, users across 110 cities can book from over 6,00,000 vehicles across cabs, auto-rickshaws and taxis. Ola has also introduced a range of shared mobility services on its platform like Ola Shuttle and Ola Share for commute and ride-sharing respectively. The app is available on Windows, Android and iOS platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Consumer Research & Product Development: Develop a good understanding of the market and the consumer to define/improve on our products offerings set right communications, and develop a structured approach to acquire/retarget repeat customers.

2. Community Engagement: Be the brand ambassador for OLA Conceptualize, organize & involve Effectively reach out to potential customers and build a loyal, active & healthy community across online & offline platforms.

3. Conceptualize & Execute Campaigns : Actively engage with potential & current customers through various interaction media (online + Offline) by launching campaigns maximizing ROI & effectiveness.

4. Campaign Analysis: Defining metrics for evaluation of campaigns, work closely with Business Analyst and monitor the progress of campaigns

5. City-specific alliances :

- Understand the business needs & partnership opportunities across all verticals

- Drive Customer acquisition for Ola from partnerships, analyze and communicate partner metrics

- Engage with online ecosystems on a regular basis to understand partnership opportunities across Ola strategic priorities.

- Structure agreements & negotiate commercials (if required) with the above-identified partners

- Drive the action plans out of these alliances internally in the organization.

6. Coordination: Agencies & Partner Coordination, interact with sales & marketing team

7. On ground execution with agencies/Vendors/Partners: Print & other Vendors, Activation agencies, Media Agency(Radio), Corporate & Event Partners.
