Job Description: Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

- Owns the offshore client market strategy in a formal document.

- Supports the creation of coherent Segment specific plans.

- Is responsible for the Geo-Market (Specifically offshore client like ONGC) Opportunity Pipeline completeness and accuracy.

- Is solely responsible for Multi Segment Opportunity development and provides support on key Single Segment Tenders.

- Sets and monitors quarterly sales goals and provides feedback and corrective actions.

- Reviews every Multi Segment Opportunity and certain key single segment opportunities and ensures all opportunities are advanced or closed.

- Ensures sales are closed at prices that meet the profitability levels set by the segment and provides input to the quarterly rolling forecast.

- Is responsible for ensuring the Sales and Marketing related business systems are understood, used and contain relevant and accurate data. CRM, CTR, Reporter, FTL, ePAR

- Understands the market and competitive landscape and ensures this is captured in the business systems.

- Proactively coaches the Sales and Marketing staff to achieve their full potential.

- Provides timely advice on the Geo-Market Sales and Marketing function staffing levels and organization.

- Maintains a challenging and professional environment that provides career development opportunities and appropriate training

The Successful Candidate:

- The candidate must be an Engineer with Technical O&G upstream background with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.

- High level of contacts with O&G upstream clients.

- Strong networking at the Asset Management level within ONGC.
