Ocwen - Vendor Performance Manager (4-10 yrs)

Business Summary :

Ocwen Financial Corporation is the largest independent mortgage loan servicer in the United States and the fifth largest overall mortgage servicer. Ocwen is publicly traded (NYSE:OCN) and is widely recognized in government, industry, community and media circles as a leader in homeownership preservation, mainly through loan modifications. Over the past few years, Ocwen has enjoyed significant growth in its loan servicing portfolio and market capitalization, largely as a result of successfully integrating servicing platforms acquired from large financial institutions.

CVO Vendor Performance Manager will be the primary liaison between the Company and vendors. They will be responsible for the auditing, negotiations and relationship management associated with all outside vendors and produce executive level reports summarizing current vendor activities and performance.

Job Functions :

- Manage contract negotiation and processes in support of legal and Corporate Vendor Oversight processes.

- Create and support policy and processes to be utilized by third party providers of vendor oversight functions

- Create and maintain reporting related to strategic sourcing and contracting projects

- Strive for continual improvement of processes and use of technology to reduce company costs

- Develops and maintains strong understanding and relationship with internal businesses, processes and organizations

- Develops, guides and drives overall sourcing and acquisition strategy including comprehensive category spend and opportunity analysis

- Utilizes strategic sourcing methodologies and technologies in developing statements of work, SLAs/KPIs, negotiation strategies, and supplier performance management protocols

- Delivers positive contribution to meet/exceed company total cost of ownership and cost reduction objectives

- Participates in project management exercises, program development efforts, process enhancement initiatives, and compliance management efforts intended to facilitate achievement of objectives

- Supports sourcing tools/technology configuration enhancement, workflow design, data base accuracy, and system expansion efforts intended to maximize the return of the software functionality on a company wide basis

- Interfaces and consult with Legal team throughout sourcing process

- Proactively drives process, support and leverage integration efforts across the enterprise

- Presents a stellar professional image consistent with role as business process consultant.

Key Performance Indicators :

- Appropriate professional affiliations/certifications strongly preferred

- Preference for expertise in project/IT management

- Strong, broad working knowledge of vendor management practices and trends.

- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

- Strong financial skills and knowledge of business law

- Strong industry and functional knowledge of products/processes/services for supporting internal and external businesses that are specific to the financial services and/or mortgage banking industry

- Understanding and commitment to the continuous business improvement process

Minimum Qualifications :

- High School Diploma, GED, equivalent certification, or military experience required

- Minimum 5 years of vendor management, project management, sourcing, negotiating, contracts and/or direct work experience in supply chain field
