In the finance area, the candidate will manage and provide leadership to the team and ensure:

- Accuracy and timely reconciliations of various accounts including banks, clearing, collection and other general ledger accounts

- Identify and implement process improvement with sharp focus on automation

- Strong knowledge of transactions processing and ability to handle volume.

- Periodically review and discuss aging reconciling reports with senior management

- Interact and partner with various business units teams in India and US to strengthen processes

- Determining root causes of outstanding items and recommend corrective actions to business units, controllers and management.

- Work extensively with external and internal auditors

- Focus on cross training existing team members and training of new hires.

Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant/MBA/ CWA with 7-9 years of experience

- Proven track record of automation and standardization of processes

- Experience in reconciliations & transaction processing

- Knowledge of Mortgage servicing businesses or financial industries (preferred)

- A team player with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Dynamic

- Knowledge of application like MS Access and SQL (preferred)
