Type of Experience
- 8+ years experience in healthcare RCM order to cash Processes, Should have handled operations and transitions. Preferably worked in a healthcare RCM in a BPO/ pharma
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Will be managing a team of 80 people in AR, Billing and collections and Audits for healthcare RCM for a US pharma retail giant.
Should have the below mentioned domain expertise
1. 8 + years experience of RCM in US health care industry
2. Understanding of Explanation of Benefits
3. Understanding of US healthcare billing forms & procedures
4. Experience of transmitting claims through clearing house
5. Experience of working with Physicians & paramedics to obtain Chart notes & CMN's
6. Experience of denials management in healthcare RCM
7. Experience of contacting third party & government payer
8. Processing appeals and working with Letters of Medical necessity & chart notes
9. Generate assignment of benefits
10. Allocation of incoming payments on a daily bases
11. Acquirement of payment details
12. Processing of Over payment refunds
13. Lock box processing
14. Cash reconciliation
15. Understanding of EDI 835 files
16. Knowledge of reports - unallocated cash, open items, operational report
17. Accounts reconciliation
Competencies
1. Functional :- Understanding of Healthcare RCM order to cash processes, Previous exposure of handling large teams in RCM domain
2. Behavioral :- Strong communication/ written skills/ presentation skills
