Job Purpose :  HR responsibility for more than one functional area in the Human Resources job family or supervisory / management responsibility over an entire job family (HR Generalists) May also act as a liaison between specialists and line managers.  Major Accountabilities :  - To help formulate and implement HR strategies, objectives and processes which are fully aligned to the overall business strategy in conjunction with the relevant function Heads and the Hyderabad HR Head/Senior HR Business Partner.  - To implement organizational change, people development, career development and compensation processes to support the attraction and retention of key staff.  - To support HR Head/Senior HR Business Partner in establishing performance management, reward and recognition strategies which facilitate, support and maintain a high performance culture.  - In conjunction with line management and the Function Global HR Head contribute to the development of a value based organizational culture which will inspire employee commitment and promote a winning spirit.  - In conjunction with line management and the Function Global HR Head, implement standardized global people Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) which allow the measurement of progress against the key people objectives.  - Proactively supports all recruiting efforts and is heavily involved in the interviewing process.   - To work actively with Corporate, Global and Country based HR colleagues to promote and develop the Novartis HR function.  - To assess regularly customer needs and satisfaction and adjust services accordingly  - Interacts with senior internal and/or external personnel on significant human re-source matters.  Education:  - Typically requires a MBA degree in Human Re-sources or equivalent in education and experience  - Minimum 5 years in a Business Partner/generalist Human Resources role  - Complete understanding and use of human re-sources planning concepts/principles.   - Full knowledge of pharmaceutical industry practices preferred.
