Job Description  Due to continuous growth in the Fund Accounting business in Bangalore and EMEA, there is an opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable applicant to join the Fund Accounting BPA team in Bangalore. The role involves development and support of the Invest One fund accounting system and all its ancillary applications.   Principal Responsibilities  Provide Support and timely resolution for functional and technical queries raised by Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Pricing, Corporate   Actions and other partner areas on SunGard Invest One and its ancillary applications  Interact and liaise with IT and external vendors to resolve issues in a timely fashion  Analyze Fund Accounting operations procedures, processes, and issues to identify areas for automation to reduce risk and improve efficiency  Review workflow to evaluate effectiveness and proposes system changes to improve productivity  Consistently demonstrates expertise and lead large, complex and high-risk engagements/projects.   Collaborates and elicit, analyze, outline and develop requirements for a well-defined project coordinating with business and technology teams.  Provides analysis and takes ownership throughout the lifecycle of the project from scoping, high-level business requirements, detailed business requirements and implementation as required.   Utilizes available subject matter expertise to perform functional reviews of transformational initiatives and ongoing BAU change agendas.   Provide comprehensive consulting and leadership to the stakeholder(s) to identify and understand the issues, drivers, environment or business they support.  Defines and drive strategic change roadmap and maximizing the value to be delivered on multifaceted initiatives  Serve as a Change Advocate; establish trust within the corresponding business teams; gain enthusiasm within the teams.  Independently deliver a high-quality work product with increased complexity, large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult, to timescale and budget.  Train, coach and mentor juniors in the group  Provide SME support to Production support in case of any critical issues  Provide support to new business initiatives   Work closely with regional functional managers in various processes/projects to ensure communication and smooth implementation  Skills/ Experience   Strong Industry knowledge (must have at least 5 years of strong Fund Accounting knowledge)  Knowledge of Invest One and its ancillary applications  Self-starter with good problem-solving skills  Good communication skills - Verbal & Written  Good core IT skills and the ability to liaise and translate between Technical and non-Technical departments  Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks  Strong organizational and time management skills  Willingness to learn and be creative within the role  Management and leadership skills  Advanced analytical skills  Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
