This is your moment to shape it. General Purpose  As a generalist HR partners with line managers from a Chennai Site focus and also plays a key role on HR initiatives from an India and IMEA region perspective. The aim is to help business achieve key people management goals across multiple HR areas. The position also provides a great opportunity to be part of and also actively participate in the transition the organization is going through.   Main Responsibility Area  Provides generalist consulting to the business on core focus areas like Engagement & Retention, Building the spirit, Building leadership and Performance & Culture Building. Coaches line managers to increase understanding and application of Nokia People Processes. Implements programmes to support translation of local business targets into HR action. Provides feedback to site team on local business needs and process improvement. Manages local change planning and implementation of global change programs. Partners with other colleagues within the immediate HR network (site and/or business) to achieve Nokia's targets through Business & HR action plans.Provides feedback/input based on experiences into the development and/or the implementation of processes/products/services to support business strategies.  Key Tasks  - Delivers agreed people processes across different teams/areas ensuring seamless HR services.   - Drives leadership and employees to live and breathe our Challenger Mindset in practice, and to drive through fast and positive behavioral change and support building Performance Culture  - Applies experienced level HR Generalist knowledge to deliver full scope of strategic HR initiatives in line with the business strategy needs/situation.   - Able to translate business needs to people plans and actions  - Talent management: Develop and nurture in-house talent, attract external talent   - Retention of top talent and key resources  - Leadership capability development   - Acts as sounding board to Leadership Team members  - Manages local change planning and implementation of global programs  - Monitors Business scorecard/people metrics & reporting and initiates actions.  Qualifications  Post Graduate in HR with 12+ years of experience. Should have been in a generalist HR role involving interface with multiple senior stakeholders, implemented employee engagement & OD interventions at a site level.  We particularly are looking for -  Above all & we seek an inspirational HR leader with good communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
