Salary offered: 10 - 19 LPA  Purpose Of Role :  The role holder provides human resource direction to the Company's leadership team. He/she is responsible for the planning and direction of employee and industrial relations activities in at least one significant business unit or global line of business.  Key Responsibilities : To translate and apply strategic and business targets required to shape IR outcomes and consequences, in one or more of the following areas :   - The development of policy in respect of all aspects of negotiations for terms and conditions, employment legislation, industrial tribunals and works councils.  - To proactively partner with senior management and other colleagues within the business to achieve organization's target.  - To manage statutory compliance & audits of plants across the country.  - To initiate and develop processes/products/services to support business strategies.  - To evaluate the effectiveness of IR practices/processes for the business and to lead change.  - May manage and develop a team of professional and support staff.  Business Impact :  - Clear strategic elements.  - Develops commercially sound solutions that influence business unit results and improve customer relationships.  - Increased awareness of functions outside of own business area.  - Long term strategy and overall business philosophy typically guide this role.  Authority/Decision Making :  - Translates strategy into actionable programs, operations or activities.  - Formulates operational guidelines.  - Demonstrates strategic thinking, assumes a broad perspective.  - Problems require searching and selecting, solutions can be checked and proved.  - Works with a high level of autonomy, and is comfortable in the absence of direction.  Qualifications :  - MBA (IR) / Masters in Labour Law (MLL) / Masters in Labour Works (MLW)  Skills/Experience :  - Substantial knowledge and experience in IR issues covering negotiation and consultation, a breadth of activities, and best in class practices and policies.
