Position Title: Product Development Manager
Department: R&D Services
Function Area: Product Development
Reports To: R&D Director - Asia
Direct Reports: Product Development Technologist, Senior Food Technologist, Laboratory Assistants
Experience: minimum 10 Years
Product Development Expertise: Frozen Products - Patty, Parantha etc; Emulsion & Sauces
Qualification: A recognized tertiary qualification in Food Service and Technology or a related field is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all key performance indicators for Product Development are met.
- Manage and prioritize product development resources to meet the growth requirements of our business.
- Ensure that all our products meet FSSAI standards
- Ensue effective analysis of the data and recommend or provide quick solutions to ensure that product development KRAs are met.
- Maintain and builds technical relationship with technical personnel in other McCormick operating units as well as technical personnel of key customers.
- Provides technical advice and guidance, where necessary, to his direct reports in managing daily targets and meeting strategic technical objectives of the company.
- Organizes and prioritize product development resource to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Ensures that all formulations have limited access and are maintained in a secure manner.
- Ensures all product development activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
