Position : Network Presales - Voice

Education : B.E. / B. Tech. / MBA

Years of Experience : 5 -7 years in Networks Domain / Pre-sales / Consulting

Tools Most Used in this role Microsoft Excel, Power Point, OEM websites and configurators, - GOOGLE- and communications skills

Job Description : Responsibilities :

- Up to 50% Global Travel

- Responding to RFP's / RFI's / RFQ's as part of pre-sales process.

- Participate in due diligence meetings with customer to gather more information on proposal/information request and environment.

- Architect winning techno-commercial Information Security solutions as part of the pre-sales process.

- Prepare Proposal documents including proposals, pricing sheet, solution presentations against RFP- s/RFI- s

- Contractual documents such as Statement of Work, Resource Unit Definitions etc

- Understanding new data technologies/products and position them in relevant solution proposal

- Keep himself/herself up-to-date with latest products features, licensing, architecture and price

- Defend end-to-end data solutions to customer/internal stakeholders

- Working closely alongside other technology owners for optimal solution design in-line with the overall proposed solution.

- Work with OEM / Partners to ensure an appropriate solution is proposed during Presales Cycle

Knowledge & Experience :

- Understanding of various areas under Network domain -

- Voice technologies and platforms

- Video technologies

- TCP/IP protocol suite

- Application protocols - HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL etc.

- Voice over IP and other Converged Network Technologies

- Video over IP (desired not necessary)

- Expert in Cisco Voice Architecture or Avaya Voice Architecture

- Able to technically describe the components of a typical voice architecture

- Technical experience with designing, installing, configuring and supporting security infrastructure technologies, tools.

- CCNP - Voiceor Avaya equivalent desired and CCNA or Avaya equivalent mandatory

- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

- Should be willing to travel extensively to perform the required functions.
