Network Architect - BFSI

One of our reputed clients is looking for a Network Architect for their Card Processing division in Chennai.

This position would be a short term assignment for 3 months, which could be extended to 6 months, depending on work. This position also involves travel to their client location (Vietnam), if required.

An ideal candidate, would have the following:

- Experience working as Senior Administrator for a period of 10 years

- Experience working with a Bank will be an advantage

- Proven experience and success with enterprise level LAN, WAN and WLAN engineering, design and implementation

- Proven ability to engineer routers, hubs, switches and access points

- Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles and general network management practices

- Excellent technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and internet standards

- Strong knowledge of network management and analysis tools

- Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts and telecommunication principles

- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

- Knowledge, understanding and ability to create and maintain thorough technical documentation

- Industry standard certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CWNA, CWSP preferable

He / She should have an experience of around 15 years, with a Degree / Post Graduate qualification, proven experience operating in senior network design / architecture and management roles, Expert knowledge of network technologies and their application across WAN, LAN, Wireless, Voice, Network Security including MPLS design, IP environments, firewalls, switching, routing, design redundancy, Cisco technologies, Load balancers and expertise in design to implementation of enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors
