National Sales Manager - Pharma (16-25 yrs)

Responsibilities :

Deliver expected performance and beyond (sales) at a national level.

Implement a plan to achieve brand sales targets within agreed expense budgets.

Create Key Account Management plans with appropriate resources for driving growth and defense against competition. Set targets, objectives and incentives schemes at the beginning of each sales cycle relating to work input, output and quality.

Coach and follow up on skills development of the sales team by ensuring regular update on their medical, technical and special field knowledge through formal training sessions, coaching in the field etc.

Ensure the right level of support for the salesforce (e.g. material, SFE, Manager support etc.).

Elevate consolidated market intelligence and in field performance to the Marketing teams.

Monitor performance of Zonal Sales Managers and their District in field teams - carry out regular reviews of agreed objectives and follow up where necessary.

Operational budgetary controls for cost and profit management.

Ensure a robust supply chain mechanism to ensure stipulated inventory holdings.

Ensure compliance to Corporate Governance Norms & Ethical Trade practices all across.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

Total team size will include TBMs and ABMs

Position Accountability / Scope

Revenue managed will be as per Divisional goals

Primary external stakeholders addressed include influential physicians,

Key Opinion Leaders, Purchase Heads and Hospital CEOs and operational plans

Communicator

Ability to communicate vision and be a facilitator among the in-field teams

Desired Criteria :

Candidates from Pharma Industry with more than 15+ years of experience in sales are preferred.

Candidates with experience in Diabetes / Cardio or any other specialty segment are preferred.
