Job Profile / Role and responsibilities:

To look after sales and distribution nationally for Consumer Products SBU

Sales

1.Achievement of Sales target for the business.

2.Effective management of Zonal Sales Managers, Regional Managers and Branch Managers

3.Ensure Accurate Sales Forecasting for the business.

4.Recovery of Poor Preference territories.

5.Sales improvement thru lSR Module implementation.

6.Increase sales in Modern Trade and Corporate segments enhancement.

Distribution Management

1.Effective implementation of all WSS related policies and systems.

2.Reduction in WSS attrition.

3.Implementation of software at WSS point.

4.Expansion of Distribution network.

Inventory and Receivable Management

1.Inventory management at locations in various Zones.

2.Keeping Receivables under control.

Manpower Development

1.Training of Sales force

2.Career path progressions of the 50 member team especially the direct reportees.

Market development

1.Implementation of Market Development plans and effective use of Market Development Budget

2.Work with CMDI; include Launch of a New Product

3.Audit market development activities implementation.

Desired Profile:

1.MBA(Premier B-School) like IIMs, XLRI, MDI, JBIMS, NMIMS etc… with 10-12 years of experience in Sales from good FMCG Companies – currently looking at a national or at least a regional responsibility,

2.Should be a stable candidate with maximum number of 2-3 changes in his/her career.

3.Should have worked as a Regional Head for at least 4-5 years of a reputed FMCG.

4.Should have ability to think and observe trends in the market/significant competitor activities and report to Management while guiding Zonal Managers and
taking action

5.Should be oriented towards implementing Sound systems and Policies

Direct Report and Reporting to:

Report to – President of the Division

Reportees – Zonal Managers, Regional Managers, Branch Managers; each Branch Managers will be reported to by 8- 10 TSIs and 70-80 Distributors
