Opening with Information Service Company for the role of National Sales Manager - Business Development (Data Center and Cloud Services)  Location : Mumbai  Salary : Not a constraint for right candidate  Job Description :  National Sales Manager - Business Development (Data Center and Cloud Services)  - The NSM is responsible for developing the sales & marketing plan to grow Writer Info's business in the Cloud/Datacenter domain towards large Enterprises and SME customers in India, Middle East and African markets.   - NSM is responsible for driving and co-owning Datacenter solution sales, business development, and marketing activities within his/her assigned region and is expected to take a consistently proactive approach to developing the technical solutions business in the region.   - The role also serves as the liaison between the assigned sales team and customers and professional services delivery resources which include both in-house and partner delivered services.  - NSM will scope professional services opportunities and assist in the creation and delivery of Statements of Work (SoW) to customers and is required to maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge across a broad set of foundational technologies as well as at least one specific technology set to serve as the subject matter expert for that specific subject on a national and/or global scale.   - The successful candidate will have a solid technical background in data center, and experience working with leading Telcos, OEMs & ISVs who are selling solutions into the Cloud/Datacenter/Enterprise domains.   - The work includes identifying sales opportunities, manage the regional sales pipeline and drive the complete sales process to meet milestone, design wins & revenue goals.   - She/He will work closely with our regional sales and marketing organizations to define and build a common framework how to best accelerate and scale business opportunities across our markets.  - In addition to having deep technical knowledge, the candidate should have business development & partnering skills to qualify opportunities for Cloud/Datacenter solutions, to develop & respond to RFPs, to set up successful engineering trials and to work with customers to manage commercial launch plans to schedule.   - The candidate will also need the confidence and communication skills necessary to develop relationships with senior internal stakeholders to drive roadmap decisions & customer escalations.  - The ideal candidate will also have experience working in a regional role that required developing a customer engagement plan, traveling frequently across the region, working with local sales team/system integrators and effectively influencing senior decision makers within the service provider customer to win new business.   - Should have the entrepreneurial spirit with ability to identify & describe next generation approaches for using innovative products to solve key business issues that our customers are facing.  - Ability to describe complex technology solutions in business terms and demonstrate business value to customers.  - And should possess a solid track record of creating and managing virtual teams across region to meet sales targets & objectives.  - Grow new and existing accounts and manages the entire sales cycle for delivery of customized business solutions i.e. Managed Application Hosted Services, Hosted Messaging Services, Data Center co-location services, Managed IT & Infrastructure Services to clients.  - Identifies and implements innovative business development and sales strategies to increase company profitability by fully leveraging product/service offerings of Company's horizontal and vertical markets. Uses corporate tools to manage the pipeline, metrics, and forecasts and drive business intelligence.  - Tracking Market changes and suggesting ways to direct managers and means to at front in through healthy competition. Business continuity with existing clients/vendors.   - Interdepartmental coordination, legal, R&D, supply chain etc. Develops sales goals and strategies and ensures alignment with the brand business strategy.  - Regular interaction with the CXO's from the Industry for generating leads and for closure of deals. Building up brand and Corporate Relations by participating in the business development efforts.  - Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.  - Establish marketing contacts with corporations and other third party purchasers of IT services. Conduct presentations to these organizations of the services of the company. Organize direct negotiations and contacts for services with these organizations.  - Provide direct and regular reporting to the Head - Business Development.  - Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.  - General Business Development, Marketing, & Partnerships  - Assist and own partnership/alliance functions to assigned partner relationships. This may include being primary contact for Sales Managers and assisting in GTM and business planning as well as driving forward programmatic initiatives.  - Develop relationships and act as liaison to local partners (VARs, publishers, distribution, etc.) to ensure available resources are being utilized where appropriate.  - Act as a technical evangelist for marketing activities including speaking/presenter engagements at conferences, conventions, user groups, webinars, etc.  - Partners and co-owns sales activities at a customer level with the field-based account manager. Performance and success measured by GP - performance of region and individual accounts.
