National Sales Head - Consumer Organisation (10-20 yrs)

Company : Our clients are a large & leading Consumer organisation having multi-locational presence in India - leaders in their field. They have launched a new range of products and are looking for a young, dynamic Sales Manager to be based in Western Suburbs, Mumbai and head the Sales function for this product on an All-India basis.

- The position reports to the CEO. Our clients offer excellent salary/perks as per industry norms & commensurate with experience.

- The positions are expected to close by end-August.

KRAs :

- Lead the sales organisation in achieving the growth target for the new business

- Develop and implement sales strategies in line with the aggressive annual business plan

- Set up and develop distribution infrastructure across new geographies

- Channel Expansions for market coverage through Channel partner acquisition, retention & development

- Planning and implementing GTM for Modern trade, general trade

- Design and implement Channel/Field marketing plans to complement the sales and distribution plans

- Ensure & monitor efficiency and efficacy of sales process with actual on ground execution

- Understanding seasonality, planning for seasonality and strong execution during the season would be a critical success factor

- Ensure high levels of forecast accuracy in building sales plans

- Team identification and building

- Set appropriate targets for key employees and motivate them to achieve the same

- Lead and inspire individuals through passion, commitment levels and synergies across functions

- Identify and groom and mentor few set of identified high performers for higher challenges

Candidate Profile : MBAs aged 35-40 with 10-16 years experience in fmcg / OTC / Durables / stationery etc. Would currently be an NSM or would be an RSM with experience in at least two geographies.

- Would have led high energy teams has led and successfully executed aggressive distribution expansion plans.
