They are currently looking for a National Manager- Finance & Accounts for their Mumbai office.

Description

Reporting to the President Finance and Accounts, your responsibilities will include:

- Handling of day to day accounting

- Maintaining books of accounts. Maintaining reconciliations and schedules for various PnL & balance sheet

- Finalisation of Annual Accounts and getting them audited on timely basis

- Coordinate with Internal/ External auditors

- Cash Flow Planning & Forecasting

- Handling of Accounts Payable function - purchase order approvals, Vendor bill verification and approvals, vendor payments etc.

- Revenue accounting and maintenance of debtors ledgers

- Monthly Closure of books and preparation of PnL & Balance sheet as per timelines

- Preparation of Monthly Management Reports

- Preparation of Annual Budget, analyse budget v/s actual variances and track the impact of corrective actions

- Maintaining database of all the key financial as well as non-financial information

- Preparation of information and presentations as desired by management from time to time

- Evaluating financial impact of new business/project or any other business decision and presenting to the management along with underlying assumptions.

- Filling all return related to direct and indirect taxes (TDS, Income tax, Service tax, VAT, PT etc.)

- Obtaining all registration certificate related to Income tax, VAT, CST, PT, Excise, Service tax, and other ancillary certificates

Profile

You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 8 - 10 years post qualification experience preferably in the service industry. You have in depth understanding and direct exposure of key activities including Accounting, Audit, MIS & Reporting, Financial Review and Analysis, Budgeting, Statutory Compliance related to Finance and Taxation, and Billing & Collection. You should have excellent team management and stakeholder management skills to successfully manage the role. You should have handled a team of 8 to 10 employees including qualified CAs in the past. You must be able to set the accounting processes for growing business to ensure accounting controls, reporting timelines and quality.
