Job Description :
Treasury (Funds Management) & Investments :
- Daily Balance monitoring
- Forecasting the cash flow positions
- Ensuring that sufficient funds are available for operational and capex requirements
- Documentation and control over the Forward Contract positions in Foreign currencies.
- Bank related documentations and maintaining banking relationships
Accounting :
- Supervision and monitoring of Accounts Payable - ensuring smooth payment cycles
- Supervision and monitoring of Accounts receivables - ensuring no or minimal over dues
- Monitoring Cash accounting. - Ensuring that there are Minimum cash transactions
- Checking and verifying Bank Reconciliation on Daily Basis. - ensuring that there are no long outstanding entries.
- Controlling the Sales Accounting - Verifying that the invoices are properly and quickly recorded
- Ensuring Proper control and authorization on Credit / Debit Notes / Journal entries.
Accounts Payable :
- Ensuring that proper invoicing is received. It is properly approved by BU heads
- Ensuring the optimum utilization of credit cycle, for payment purposes
- Verification of Payable list n weekly basis.
- Ensuring timely and correct payments to vendors
Accounts Receivables :
- Preparation and maintenance of Aging Analysis on daily / weekly basis
- Daily / Weekly tracking of due / overdue receivables -
- Pro-active follow up of potential due / overdue accounts.
- Rigorous follow up of potential / would be bad debts
- Keeping track of communications to and from Clients
Payroll :
- Preparation and authentication of Monthly salary data
- Ensuring correct deduction regarding TDS, PF, Ptax and other deductions to be done from salary of the employee
- Checking and validating the yearly tax calculations of employees
Taxes :
- Income Tax
- Service Tax
- SEZ related compliances
MIS and Controlling :
- Generation of MIS reports
- Monthly closing activities, like provisions, ensuring all the entries (including expense bills) are done, all invoices are entered.
- Preparation of Monthly Profitability statement, Cash Flow and related statements
- Budget preparation
- Preparation of cost sheets for projects - to show project wise profitability
- Other reports as required by top management from time to time
- Document the system of accounting policies and procedures
