We are currently looking to hire passionate & driven leaders from IIT/IIMs for multiple roles including Digital Marketing, Strategic Partnerships, Product Marketing, Sales and Business Analytics for the Mobile Business. The below JD is for Strategic Partnerships role.
Role: Strategic Partnerships Manager for Mobile Business @ Myntra.com
Job Description:
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships that can help drive new customer acquisition and revenue for Myntra’s mobile site and mobile apps (Android, iOS, Windows)
- Negotiate hard with the strategic partners to get the best possible deal with focus on long term gains for Myntra’s mobile business
- Develop deep and long standing relationship with the partners - to drive relationships from the strategic to the tactical
- Own the terms of business with the partner
- Ensure high-share of mind from the partner. Build deep ties.
- Know the market: Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on size, internal capabilities, etc.
- Own the strategic partnership P&L for mobile business, including budget planning/allocation and setting revenue and customer acquisition targets. Drive initiatives to continuously optimize customer acquisition costs.
- Leverage data and market research to determine effectiveness of each strategic partnership
- Initially an individual contributor who will work with internal (sales, marketing, engineering, design, finance) and external (strategic partners) teams to execute strategic initiatives
- Opportunity to build a team as the number of strategic partnerships and each of the partnerships start to scale.
- Continuously explore and evaluate new partnership opportunities
Ideal candidate should have/be:
- An MBA from IIMs
- Entrepreneurial mindset, tremendous drive & ownership, hands-on
- Very strong on problem solving skills and logical reasoning, extremely data driven
- Desire and ability to think like the customer
- Ability to think strategic and translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion
- Strong negotiation and networking skills. Ability to connect with people across teams & levels
- Good understanding of mobile ecosystem
- Strong understanding of technology and business
- Prior experience in mobile industry is a plus
