Planning and Analytics Role (Title: Business Analyst)

- Drive revenue through concerted planning and analytics effort, liaise with vendors to understand their analytics needs, liaise with the technology team to put together analytics tools that can be used to plan merchandise and sales more effectively

Job Requirements:

- Drive sales improvement through an analytical approach of understanding brands and categories

- Coordinate projects with different teams geared towards improving sales / driving efficiencies

- Understand the analytics requirements of the vendor community

- Assist the product team in design of analytics tools for vendors

- Derive meaningful action items out of sales, customer and merchandise data

- Question existing process and frameworks with a view to improve the organization

Skills Required:

- Strong analytical skills (proficiency in Excel is a must, SQL / Tableau knowledge a plus)

- Strong communication and project management skills

- Action oriented approach

Education and Experience Required:

- Graduate from a top tier engineering college

- 1 to 3 years of experience in a top tier consulting / analytics / finance company
