In this position the candidate will manage the entire finance function and company secretarial function of this fast growing startup over multiple locations.
1. Controllership
- Manage the finance and accounting functions of the company including reconciliations, GL accounting and MIS
- Ensure compliance of statutory responsibilities.
- Regular monitoring and improvement of processes and internal controls of the company
- Finalization of balance sheet
- Co-ordination with statutory auditors of the company for timely completion of audits.
- Deal with the Company Secretarial matters
2. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Track actual progress against the budgets.
- Track and advise management on key business metrics and statutory / financial issues
- Ensure timely month end financial reports and dashboards to the management
- Initiate, lead and advise on cost control measures
- Manage and project cash flows of the company
3. Others
- The candidate should be self-motivated and should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Should be capable of managing with the pace of the growing expansion.
- Should have demonstrated the ability to manage business and team at distant locations.
- High on communication and influencing skills – will be working closely with the Directors and with the investors and will have a key role in overseeing the effectiveness of the finance function and contributing in decision making
4. Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant with 2 years post qualification experience. Experienced candidates without CA will also be considered
- Experience in financial reporting and establishing financial processes/ systems ensuring adequate internal controls
