General Manager (Software Engineering) :

- Do you have an eye for software architecture and experience motivating diverse technology teams

- We're looking for someone to join our team in leading the next generation of travel software engineers.

Your responsibilities will be to :

- Lead, grow and inspire our software engineering team from architecture through to quality assurance

- Establish and enforce SDLC processes to improve product delivery/performance/quality targets

- Take ownership of our software products to ensure 99.9% or higher successful processing at all times

- Champion long-term and sustainable software engineering principles in the company

- Collaborate with our IT infrastructure teams in the design/management of our hosting infrastructure

- Develop/enforce our existing software, information security and data privacy policies at all times

- Mentor and guide software engineering staff as they grow in their respective careers

- Provide strategic insights into evolving industry trends, practices, threats and technologies

- Travel to, and represent us at technology events outside the city/country when necessary

You'll need to have :

- A degree in computer science/engineering

- 8+ years experience managing software engineering for Internet/e-commerce businesses

- Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, planning and presentation skills
