MTR Foods - Trade Activation Manager (2-8 yrs)

- The position would be based out of Hyderabad and will manage the Trade Marketing and Activations for AP & Telangana, West Zone, North Zone and East Zone.

Job Responsibilities of Trade Activation Manager :

- Develop and implement Trade Marketing Strategy for the region to achieve defined business objectives across all product categories.

- Ensuring alignment across the Sales and Marketing organization on field sales needs and marketing initiatives. Putting in place, monitor and improve processes to link all Marketing activities with the activities of the Field Sales team.

- Increase effectiveness of BTL activations by ensuring 100% strategy execution.

- Develop and deploy TM strategies for NPD launches - Plan & Align Go to Market Strategy and Implement the same and track.

- Plan and Implement Key Initiatives for building channels as agreed during strategy plans. Responsible for development, execution, and performance of all programs designed to increase presence and ultimate take-away.

- Manage and evaluate trade promotion activations to ensure maximum returns.

- Co-ordination and communication of product price and pack changes.

- Ensure 100% implementation of all trade schemes in operation.

- Build trade marketing infrastructure in the region by developing sound systems and processes required to deliver marketing effectiveness.

- Act as an information pool for competitor activities across major categories and support Category Management team. Study competitor marketing and promotion strategies and pre-empt the same whenever possible and suggest action plans.

- Analyse the Channel wise and category wise output of the sales in each locations to initiate the strategies that can be done to improve the overall sales of the product.

- Analyse various consumer data that has been collected through market research and BTL activities.

- Also conduct pre & post promo analysis.

- Contribute towards brand planning process and marketing calendar development.

- Responsible for designing launch initiatives of all NPD. Decide & monitor placement norms.

- Implementation of Planogram as per agreed norms. Implementation of Planogram as per agreed norms.

- Closely track secondary/off take sales in Key Outlets & Modern Trade.

Experience & Education :

- MBA/PGDM in Marketing.

- 3+ years of experience in Trade Marketing in FMCG, preferably Foods.

- Experience in new launches and building new brands.

- Proven experience in establishing Trade Marketing infrastructure.

- Channel sales understanding - URBAN / RURAL /GT/MT Categorization of O/L (Key grosser/Mass grosser/ E&D O/L / Pan / Ch / Cosmetic - PS).

Competence & Skills desired :

- In depth knowledge of FMCG/Foods Industry.

- Thorough knowledge of Trade Marketing disciplines.

- Complete knowledge of the respective regional market.

- Good analytical Skills.

- Interpersonal Skills.

- Process Orientation.

- SAP Exposure.

- BTL Marketing.
