Network Manager   Work Experience: 12 to 16 Years, currently working as lead/manager for Network and security function having medium/large (10 to 15 people) team management experience.  Work Location: Bangalore  PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  1. Manage day to day network operation and engineering by leading team of 10 to 15 members  2. Work experience managing 24X7 environment in BPO/ITO/ITES organizations.  3. Assist team members on technical front to get job done and handle day to day escalations. Constant follow-up and track between team for assigned work and get that done Techno manager. 60 % Technical and 40% Administrative work.  4. Strong understanding of Incident, change and problem management and execute that in daily job to achieve defined KPI.  5. Willing to make change in network domain activities by adopting best practices earned into past experience and get that deployed for the organization.  6. Day to day stakeholder and vendor coordination to meet expectations and explore new solutions.  May perform one or more of the following:  - Operates data communication systems, including LANs and WANs and Wireless technologies.  - Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, P Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)  - Configure and setup Cisco switching and routing appliances for access to vital business applications. Proposing new designs to enable business.  - Design, setup and configure complex switching environments (VLAN, Ether Chanel, STP etc), and routing environments (BGP, EIGRP, VRF, MPLS, DMVPN etc.)  - Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications  - Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking.  - Assist in the design of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS, Ether-Channel (Bonding), etc.  - Understanding of network security, voice and server environments and connectivity is added advantage.  - Develops and evaluates network performance criteria and measurement methods.  - Configuring and installing network software for upgrading and maintaining network systems.  - Maintaining multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance with both private and public facilities.  - Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.  - Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support  - Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.  - Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.  - Any other duties as assigned by management  JOB QUALIFICATIONS:  - Technical, analytical and interpersonal skills required  - Current CCNA and/or CCNP/CCIP/ CCDA certification  - ITIL foundation certified and added advantage  - Understanding datacenter infrastructure and server environment  - Additional certifications required by management  - Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support  - Maintain network security through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls  - Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal  - Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small business environment  - Availability in response to needs of the customer for installation, maintenance and equipment malfunctions
