About MoveInSync:

We at MoveInSync (Bangalore based start-up, ISB incubated) are working hard to solve the problem of employee transportation. We have made some headway however there is lot more ground to cover. We are backed by great investors (Inventus, Saama Capital, & Qualcomm Ventures).

Our key product is an end-to-end solution for employee transportation which has Routing, Employee Cab Usage Records, Tracking, Automated Billing, Reporting, and Women Security features.

About Position:

As Assistant Vice President - Operations you will be the strategic leader to manage multiple operations teams at MoveInSync (Manage resources involved in product implementation, Product Support, Hardware Management & Support, etc.).

- You will set goals, monitor work, and evaluate results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met for your team and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization.

- You will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions.

- You will ensures that the organization is well positioned in a rapidly evolving and competitive environment by being an agent for ongoing organizational change.

- The position ensures that strategies are clearly understood by all stakeholders and that the organization achieving its strategic goals at the optimum pace.

- You will ensure highly productive relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Manage nationally the teams deployed for site implementations, hardware management and support (Expected to grow 100+ within a year)

- Manage the product support team responsible to maintain a high level of customer delight by maintaining the required TAT

- Systematically cultivate and maintain long-term, collaborative relationship with key stakeholders and with selected organizations to achieve mutual goals.

- Facilitate the development, maintenance and monitoring of organizational plans.

- Responsible for the development and management of integrated, strategy aligned departmental workplans.

- Responsible for the development and management of the annual operating budgets.

- Help in developing and building a range of future ready products and services which would always be a few steps ahead of competition.

- Keeps up to date on issues affecting the transport sector and develops strategies to address these issues.

- Actively seeks out opportunities for investment, revenue generation and strategic partnerships.

- Represent MoveInSync in cab transportation to promote positive relationships and strong partnerships for the benefit of the organization.

- Develops innovative initiatives to enhance internal efficiency and effectiveness.

- Performs other related duties as assigned. Such duties do not normally change the level of the job.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree, MBA from a renowned institution (Preferred)

Experience:

- Individual must possess a minimum of 10 years combined leadership experience including five to eight years in a senior management.

- Must have direct management experience with large-scale initiatives involving significant monetary amounts and implications, a large staff, and involving diverse stakeholder groups.

Skills:

- The ability to lead and motivate groups and individuals. Able to think creatively and strategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups internally and externally. Able to overcome obstacles to cooperation and to foster harmonious relations.

- Strong project management skills. Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.

- Proven leadership and consensus building skills. Solid and broad understanding of all aspects of fiscal management and information technology. Proven negotiation and mediation skills.

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
