Job Responsibilities :  Fixed Assets management :   - Manage the accounting along with documentation of company's fixed assets which includes acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate in the financial year.   - Tagging of assets as per fixed asset register on daily basis with coordination to all user departments.  - Sound technical knowledge for computation of Depreciation as per Income tax and Companies act.  Cash and Treasury Management :  - Help us to keep a weekly track records on liquidity position for India.   - Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.   - Placing a Fixed deposits on sufficient liquidity with keeping informed to all stakeholders.   - Maintain accounting records and assist in funds analysis.   - Liasoning with corporate banks for all payments and receiving on daily basis.   Book Keeping monthly activities :   - Responsible for maintaining the books of accounts on day to day basis with sound technical knowledge on SAP / US - based accounting software.  - To ensure a complete procurement function runs smoothly in the organisation from procurement to payment to vendors and employees on timely and accurately manner.  - To prepare monthly financial statements along with Dashboard for stakeholders with variance analysis.  Audits :  - To prepare and present the financial statements in accordance with an applicable India GAAP Reporting and financial reporting framework, which are free from material misstatements, errors or fraud.   - Directly working with Audit team to perform the all necessary audit tests and procedures for checking the accuracy and efficiency on our internal control systems.   - To ensure timely responding to auditors on their observations or comments on financial transactions or matters which have any effect on company.   - To ensure company's balance sheet and profit and loss account dealt with in the report are in agreement with the books of account and returns.   - Support in Concur setup and Global travel process setup :   - Help to finance manager for smooth setting up of Concur systems with proper training to employees through manuals on regular basis.  - Verification and validation for all expenses should be as per our policies or in business nature.  Taxation matters :  - Monitoring the Income tax assessments, orders, refunds and claims for all relevant years for Monotype India.  - Build a directly chain of communication between Onsite finance and Tax team with Government officials on timely basis.  - A complete withholding tax set up should be in house under finance manager direction from monthly deduction to deposits.
