Employee Job Description:  Title: Mobility Solutions Architect   Business Line: Information Technology.   Reports To: IT Product & Solutions Team Leader.   Position: Permanent.   Based in: Brisbane (Wharf St Office).   Start Date: As soon as possible.   Overview of Position:   As a Solutions Architect and Senior .NET Analyst Programmer, you will play a key role in the development and support of the company's key applications used throughout Asia Pacific. This includes designing, developing, and testing the application whilst also managing technical support tasks.   - This senior role also requires the candidate to have a sound understanding of enterprise application development standards and methodologies and demonstrated experience working with custom enterprise frameworks with a view to this position leading to a future - Solutions Architect - role.  - In addition, there will also be an element of Business Analysis where it will be critical to interface with key business lines to discuss, architect solutions and assist them in documenting their requirements.   As a member of our geographically distributed development team your communication and analytical skills are essential to the role.  Key Responsibilities:   The major requirement for this role is to assist with the development/enhancement of our current database-driven applications.  - Your skills in conceptualizing solutions while working with minimal oversight will enable you to thrive in our constantly evolving environment. You will need the ability to work as a team member and be able to assist the development team in assessing the needs of the business users, developing extensible solutions to meet those needs and applying best-practices in developing those solutions will be critical to your success in this role.  - You will need to work with key business staff based in our CBRE Springwood office for allotted segments of time and be able to clearly assess their requirements and be able to clearly communicate and share ideas verbally and in writing.  - You will also be responsible for offering technical expertise to our team of developers in India and assisting with Quality control of code produced and mentoring them.   Required Knowledge & Skills:  - Degree qualified.  - 7+ years - experience in various software development/maintenance roles using ASP.NET (VB) 4.0 or higher, Object Modeling, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3 and distributed programming technologies like WCF, ASP.Net Web API or XML Web Services is mandatory.  - Experience in C#.Net is mandatory.  - Experience in MVC, MVVM architecture is mandatory.  - Experience in data binding and - forms- screen layout using either of ASP.Net Web form/ Win form/WPF/Silverlight/XAML/MVC is mandatory.  - Experience in version control systems like TFS/SVN/VS/Other is mandatory.  - Competence in SQL Server (2008 R2 experience preferred). Advance T-SQL, Stored Procedures etc. is mandatory. Good understanding of SSRS reports development and SSIS.  - Mobile architecture & design (any platform) experience is an added advantage.  - Xamarin experience is an added advantage.  - Familiarity with Windows 8 SDK, Windows Phone 8 (WP8) SDK is an added advantage.  - Experience in portable class libraries and designing distributed enterprise solutions is good to have.  - Experience with Real Estate IT systems would be advantage.  - Understanding of Enterprise Frameworks, Release procedures, understanding of development environments.  - Demonstrated ability in communicating with business users and assessing their needs.  - Demonstrated ability in working with and advising a team of developers.  - Demonstrated ability in providing solutions and working through the full development life cycle.  - Experience in progress reporting to management.  - Time Management Skills.  - Analytical and problem-solving skills.  - Other duties as required.  Personal Attributes:  - Very good communication skills.  - Ability to easily fit into a distributed development team.  - Customer service oriented.  - Enthusiastic/High initiative.  - Ability to manage timelines of multiple initiatives.  - Very good attention to detail and the ability to always follow up.
