Job Description :   - Responsible for managing, coordinating and lead RFIs/RFPs/opportunities based on developed bid plan  - Develop and demonstrate an executable bid plan/strategy   - Achieve the planned win strategy goals/outcomes for bid/pursuits   - Joint accountability for achieving win and closure ratios  - Responsible for measurable outcomes bid response rates, strategic account pipeline increase, presales/sales support utilization, increase penetration in accounts  - Work on large and strategic deals  - Champion 1-2 bid management/bid center initiatives for presales/marketing team  For this job, candidate should have a strong experience in Telecom domain   Industry :  - Experience in telecom domain, should have written proposals for Tier 1& Tier 2 telcos.  - Should have managed a minimum of 30 large RFPs in telecom OSS/VAS products  Efficiency, Effective and Quality Assurance :   - Institutionalize process, tools, checklists, templates, accelerators and publish on access portals   - Compliance, process implementation and evidence of at least 2-3 improvements on periodic basis  - Evidences of knowledge sharing/management, best practices and best in class bench marking  - Coach the presales team on medium to large deals on various bid deliverables to ensure best-in-class bid responses  - Training presales/ sales/marketing roles for bid management processes  People Management :  - Cross-functional stakeholder management  Governance :   - Manage and publish periodic bid/deal status reports  - Periodic governance with Presales/Solution stakeholders for bid management  - Establish a close connect with Sales/ Pre-sales/Product Management to increase usage of bid management function for large/strategic deals  - Mature escalation management  Desired Skills and Experience :  - The candidate should have previously worked with IT services/product organizations with a minimum total work experience of 5 - 7 years; out of which at least 3 - 6 years are in Bid Management and Pre-sales   - BE / MBA from top institutions  - Demonstrable experience of working and managing large and complex bids, managing diverse/virtual bid teams/stakeholders  - Demonstrated outcomes of presales metrics such as win rate, close rate, bid pipeline, bid management process and institutionalization  - Strong organizational, facilitation and project/program management skills  - Experience and/or capability in client interfacing roles  - Determined and enthusiastic in bringing bids/pursuits to a successful closure  Candidates from Bangalore location will be preferred as will help in quick turnaround.
