Title -Sales Head

Job Description -Desired candidate should be passionate about sales and must understand roles and responsibilities at startups/Entrepreneurship. Should have handled a team of at least 10 ASM level representatives. More than 10 years of experience in channel development and management (dealer and sub agent network). Main job requirement is to drive top line 5x for a newly established agricultural machinery that has received strong adoption in first year. Should be able to track record of creating a new market for a new brand in rural market.

Key Skills -Self directing, Revenue hungry, understand start ups, Team Management, Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Recruiting & training sales force, Product Launch, Promotions, Channel Management, Govt. affairs. Experience of working in Rural- agri market, Team Leader, integrity, sincerity and team player. Flexible and adaptable to change and can handle uncertainty. Proficient in Local language (Marathi)

Job Responsibilities-

1.Developing a strong Marketing and Sales Strategy to create Strong Brand, Channel to sell the range of products in Maharashtra.

2.Engage in market research to understand and identify emerging trends, customer needs

3. Increase sales and market share by leveraging market potential, spotting opportunities, market expansion

4.Ensuring effective advertising to create a strong brand and position the product in its target customer segment.

5.Improve both Top and Bottom line

6.Proper budgeting and pricing

7. Managing relationship with key stakeholders like financers, channel partners

8.Recruit and train strong sales force.

9. Team motivation.

10.Competitor Analysis.

Job Location -Pune/Mumbai

Job Sector -Manufacturing

Required Experience

1.10- 20 years experience in sales of equipment to rural/agri sector.

2.Should have minimum 5 years of experience in starting a new market for a new implement or a tractor manufacturer, preferably in Maharashtra.

3.Currently a State head or a Zonal sales role

4.Experience in sales and marketing of OEM agri machinery industry (ex. JCB, John Deere (Except Tractor), Caterpillar, Kubota, Paddy Trans-planters, Bailer manufacturers, Shaktiman Sugarcane Harvester, SWAN Implements, Redlands Motors etc.), rural vehicle sales, drip irrigation of Vineyards and Orchards will be preferred.

Educational Qualification -B.E. Agri. or Mechanical (M.B.A. Marketing will be preferred)
