Title : Deputy General Manager - Sales

Job Description :

- Desired candidate should be passionate about sales and must understand roles, responsibilities and the agility required at startups.

- Team Leadership experience of 5-7 years leading a team of 10 ASMs and TMs is mandatory.

- Similar years of experience in channel management and development is required.

- Should have a proven track record of creating a new market for a new brand in rural market. Please note that job involves traveling a lot in assigned territory.

- Self directing, Revenue hungry, understand start ups, Team Management, Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Recruiting & training sales force, Product Launch, Promotions, Channel Management, Govt. affairs.

- Experience of working in Rural- agri market, Team Leader, integrity, sincerity and team player.

- Flexible and adaptable to change and can handle uncertainty. Proficient in Local language (Marathi)

Job Responsibilities :

- To devise and execute a sales and marketing strategy using direct sales force and channel.

- Recruiting, managing, motivating and training direct as well as dealer sales force.

- Channel Management including ensuring investments from dealers, billing stocks on time, ensuring appropriate inventories in system.

- Planning and executing ATL/BTL activities, designing and executing sales schemes.

- Responsible for Business P&L - Top and Bottom line, budgeting and pricing for the area assigned.

- Managing relationship with key stakeholders like financers, channel partners

- Competitor Analysis.

Job Location : Nashik/ Pune

Job Sector : Manufacturing

Required Experience :

- 8-10 years experience in sales of equipment to rural/agri sector. Candidates having experience in selling of rural financial services, agri insurance or allied industry may also apply.

- Should have minimum 5 years of experience in starting a new market for a new implement or a tractor manufacturer, preferably in Maharashtra.

Desirable Experience:

- Experience in rural sales ( Light vehicles like two wheeler's and cars, consumer durable's insurance, financial services, agri equipment's) will be highly desirable.

Educational Qualification : B.E. Agri./ Mechanical and MBA ( Marketing) from Tier 1/Tier 2 schools
