Role : Senior Business Consultant

Purpose of the role :

Business Consultant (BC) utilises their knowledge of Banking and Misys Products in order to support business solutions for clients. Working for project managers, they are the functional product knowledge warehouse within Professional Services (PS).

Key Responsibilities (Key accountabilities of the job) :

- Meeting with clients to determine requirements

- Working with clients to define the scope of a project

- Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business

- Travelling to customer sites on need basis

- Liaising with staff at all levels of a client organisation

- Analyzing business requirements within companies and giving advice regarding our products

- Developing agreed solutions and implementing Misys products and solutions

- Presenting solutions in written or oral reports

- Designing, configuring, testing and monitoring our solutions on customer projects

- Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to customers

- Organizing and/or providing training for users and other consultants

- Being involved in sales and support, as necessary

- Other activities within various stages of a project may include:Analysis & Design Stage, Build / Implementation / Configuration Stage, Test Stage and Deployment Stage

Experience :

- 7- 9 years of experience, with at least 4-6 years of consulting and implementation experience of Retail Banking Implementation.

- Deep understanding of Banking Domain General Proficiency with tools, systems and procedures to accomplish the job typically 2 to 4 years experience.

Technical Expertise :

- Good understanding of the technical architecture for a software solution.

- Good knowledge of SQL and basic Unix commands.

Academic and Professional Qualifications : Successful completion of a Bachelors Degree or relevant Business/Banking experience
