Job description for a BA:
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree or relevant Business/Banking experience.
Desired Experience:
- Typically requires 2 - 5 years of experience.
- Previous business analysis experience in a financial domain with focus on Bank Treasury/Trading Systems or Previous experience in Financial Services Industry.
- Gathering information from a range of different sources and in a number of different ways e.g. data collection, interviews, meetings, review of processes, manuals, documentation review, etc.
- Proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize workloads and work on own initiative
- Knowledge of Trading/Risk/Treasury products and terminology.
Role Description:
- Analysis of new MIS/business requirements / strategic road map items - translation into product-specific designs/ detailed Requirement Definitions/and Use Cases.
- Engage with the development team during the software build process for domain related
- Self-Starter, ability to do independent research in domain specific areas
- Production and review detailed requirements specifications / functional analysis.
- Functional testing of new developments / releases.
- Review Product Documentation (BA - Product).
- Engage with BSG/Sales team during pre-sales and post-sale
- Review User Manuals (BA - Domain).
- Provide internal training in Banking (BA Domain).
- Production of User Acceptance Documents and Checklists in support of Alpha & Beta programs.
- Functional testing of new developments / releases.
