Title: University Recruiting Specialist

Reports to: Sandesh B.S University Recruiting Manager, India and Israel

Location: Hyderabad

Are you passionate about finding talent that can change the world- Do you thrive at building, connecting and maintaining communities- Have you engaged with early in Career Talent (University and MBA Graduates), for hiring, assessing and placement- Microsoft is in the midst of a transformation of our business and culture, and we are looking for a University Recruiting Specialist for India that can help us find Campus Talent to lead this transformation. This role focuses on building the campus talent pipeline for our organization to help us compete to win in this new Microsoft Era and has the mandate of hiring the best talent either in the new graduate space or the MBA space the job responsibilities are- .

Program Management

- Promote in local schools the Microsoft brand and our student offerings

- Market our brand with the respective audiences in a targeted and intentional manner that helps increase applicant relevance for both internships and Campus hires

- Build consistent internship onboarding offerings

- Design a feedback process that aims at measuring progress of Interns to help qualify candidates for PPO process

- Provide operational excellence in management and execution of the overall experience, both from a timing and quality standpoint

- Build connections with target schools to help increase our ability to attract nationals and diverse talent

- Build strong connections with key stakeholders in the company, to drive the impact of our student offerings

- Educate sponsors and managers on the program and help build clarity on what their role is

- Build out participants, manager and stakeholder communication strategy

Evangelization

- Represent the program and define with stakeholders the communication strategy

- Partner with the different businesses to help elevate and expand the reach for communities and new talent pools

- Build and execute on campus activities in partnership with the key stakeholders in country

Recruitment

- Attract the best talent for Microsoft from target schools

- Partner with sponsors to ensure ability to deliver on its campus hiring targets and plans year after year with proper representation.

- Partner with the local teams in country to identify a list of the schools to target for both graduates and MBA talent

- Build a robust assessment and evaluation methodology that would help hire for Talent

This role will be an active member of the India, Middle East and Africa University Recruiting team and the greater Global University Recruiting Team.

Experience and Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree required; MBA preferred

- 4 to 8 years- experience in Campus hiring with respect to Intern & full time hires from Tier 1 and Tier 2 colleges

- Excellent Project management and organization skills required, including ability to manage multiple competing priorities

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to communicate effectively and concisely - both orally and in written form

- Proven track record and ability to effectively cultivate relationships and strategic partnerships with sr. level stakeholders and collaborate with multiple teams to achieve the required objectives

- Strong analytical skills required, including ability to analyze multiple sources of data and recommend actions based on analysis

- Strong business acumen

- Flexibility around travel, as required.
