Partner / Channel, Marketing Manager - MMDS (Microsoft Mobile Devices & Services)
Location: Anywhere in India

Purpose of the Role:
Regional responsibility for driving marketing activities across one key sales channel. Marketing manager for a geographical sales territory managing and coordinating all marketing activities and programs
Roles & Responsibilities:
Works as a marketing program lead while handling end to end marketing responsibility of channels and areas for Gujarat & MPCG (Urban & Rural) Region.
- Planning and execution of On- ground activities for driving preference and demo for Lumia device
- Driving Vino scores and coverage across all channels
- Analysis of mkt. share for respective region and share it with BMs
- Focus on SCON demo experience for Lumia Mystery shopper audit
- Launch planning and execution @ retail
- Sustenance of retail visibility through innovations
- Vendor management and ensuring adherence to PR/PO process
- Team management and review on monthly basis
Channel marketing responsibility:
- Provide thought leadership to the sales & channel team in the region
- Marketing activity calendar for the region for the said channel
- Joint owner of driving solutions marketing in the region
- Works in a program mode and acts as the program lead for all marketing activities in the channel
- Audit - SCON experience of Demos and recommendation
Key Pivot and interface for Marketing/GTM plans in a geographical sales area across channels. Is responsible for:
- MMDS Brand
- MMDS market share
- Active users
- Brand metrics like Strength of Preference, Retail visibility
- Retail rollouts
- Marketing activity calendar across channels - operator, Rural, Branded retail and OT
- Visual merchandising, planogram consistency
- Bringing local/ area consumer insights to enable better planning. Provides his inputs and creates when relevant creative briefs, media briefs, apps briefs etc
- Vendor management - manages teams of BTL agencies, merchandisers, vendors for GSB, store branding, store deployment, POSM
- Competitive tracking, analysis and planning
Key Skills Required:
- This role requires a prior knowledge and experience in the marketing/sales function
- Strong understanding of MMDS Channel
- Requires strong networking skills
- This role requires strong collaborative and operational skills backed with good understanding of various marketing functions.
- Ability to multi task, adapt to market dynamics, portray effective thought leadership skills, strong team player
- Ability to manage vendors and negotiate
- High human interface with HO marketing, sales, channel head, vendor teams,.
Qualification:
- MBA with 3-8 years of relevant Marketing experience in FMCG/FMCD or Telecom/Operator/Handset Ecosystem. Candidates from Premier B.School preferred.
