This leadership role focuses on understanding the immigration landscape focusing specifically India/Europe/USA/ME geographies, risk implications and mitigation of laws along with government relationships and the impacts on business by geography, region and country.   - A strong understanding of the Microland business is necessary to ensure the global immigration policies and strategies align with the business needs and can provide quick, informed, judgment in an advisory capacity regarding local country laws and regulations.   The role will need proven strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills to solve difficult business and operational issues.  The candidate should be able to display strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills to solve difficult business issues and ability to support the Microland business as follows, but not limited to:  - Partnering and collaborating with Business units and key project teams to facilitate deployment of talent across Geographies by managing Visa Operations  - Teaming with government relations to drive a strategy to cover consulate updates with the various consulates in India  - Reviewing immigration changes (eg: client alerts, legislative changes) and assessing impact, seeking clarification (if required), communicating as required;  - Policy exception approval requests relating to immigration;  - Reviewing of any Global Immigration policy changes for assessment of immigration impact.  - Sound understanding of operations management, customer experience and process throughput  - Knowledge of Immigration Laws/Operations Management  - Designing immigration training needs to internal teams & business teams.  Duties include but are not limited to:  - Responsible for understanding business requirements and develops a comprehensive resolution plan   - Collaborates with global immigration vendors as required.  - Identifies and executes improvement / efficiency opportunities in the processes.  - Ensuring visa type used in aligned with activities and enable process checklists and flows available for new applicants  - Creates and disseminates weekly and monthly reports  - Assists with identifying requirements, implementing and maintaining creation of dashboard designs  - Rapid response to client needs  - On time process and requirements information sharing, Request Tracking, Appointment Booking and Tracking, Tracking Visa expirations and triggering renewals.  - Special projects as assigned.  - Must be a self-starter, critical thinker, customer focused, and compliance minded.  Travel:  - Responsible for all Travel and related Logistics - accommodation / local travel etc.  - Should have at least 10 years Plus experience in handling travel  - Relationships with Travel agencies and Hospitality sector  - Experience in handling international bookings desired  - Preparing of travel Budgets, based on inputs from business units  - Designing and implementation of policies  - Preparation of MIS Reports for Management study, travel spend and analysis  - Good interpersonal and negotiation skill  - Excellent Communication Skill  - Good exposure to relocation supports  Required:  - Bachelor's Degree.  - 12-15 years experience in Global Immigration, Visa Management & Consulate/Embassy Relationship  - At least 8 years experience in risk implications and mitigation of laws   - English: Fluent   - The candidate must have hands-on experience preferably have work experience in preparation of forms pertaining to filing of visa categories  - Experience in preparation of supporting letters and documentation for visa categories
