Enterprise Monitoring Tool System Architect

- 10+ years of experience in design, implementation and management of enterprise monitoring and management tools

- Hands-on experience in implementing one of the big four monitoring tools HP OV, Tivoli, CA, BMC

- Excellent hands-on experience in implementing/ managing SMB ESM tools (any two) Nimsoft, EG Innovation, Orion Suite, ManageEngine, Zenoss

- Experience in Operation Orchestration, Server/Network remediation automation

- Experience in defining/designing and implementing BSM dashboards, Anomaly dashboards

- Rich knowledge on Event Management (Events to alerts to warnings to alarms definition), alert suppression logic, event correlation (experience in tools like Tivoli TEC, BES, Netcool)

- Hands-on experience in designing custom scripts WMI, PERL, UNIX

- Familiar with open source tools such as Nagios and MRTG

- Knowledge on Operating system, networking fundamentals along with communication protocols WMI, RPC, SNMP, etc..

- Hands-on experience in integrating EMS and ITSM tools (bi-directional API Integration), EMS to Asset, EMS to ADDM

- Ability to architect monitoring tool solution end to end for new deployments

- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

- Very good communication skills

Role :

- Helps build tool practice for organization

- Establishes best practice across tool platforms

- Lead technical architect for all monitoring and management tools propositions, including ITSM Plan, design, build and manage effort estimates

- Collaborate with solution architects for building the right solution based on the requirements provided by client

- Understand clients current tool landscape suggest build-upon vs change-over tools solutions

- Investigate and validate new system monitoring tools

- Investigate and validate new network and data center device management tools

Certification :

- ITIL V3 foundation

- Any one EMT product
