While in a typical consulting profile you consult and exit , here you are responsible for a strong delivery in terms of finding the right talent.  As a Recruitment consultant your responsibilities would include maintaining a healthy portfolio of candidates and clients. The role is to pitch business to new clients, understand their business needs and most importantly maintaining a healthy relationship and knowledge of product which is the candidate market.  The Successful Applicant  Ideally you have a MBA/Post graduate degree with 2-5 years of work experience in a client facing role (preferably Corporate Banking). You are not shy to pick up the phone and make a warm/cold call to someone to pitch your business. You are persistent ,resilient ,have excellent communication skills, an amicable personality and hunger to succeed.
