If multi-faceted roles, technology and a car-rental service built from the ground-up with the user experience in mind excites you, look no further.   MiCar’s office is in New Delhi, India.  Desired Skills & Experience:  - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product management, program management or product delivery roles in a strong technology / engineering environment;   - Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams that successfully built complex software products using agile methodologies.   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; exposure to technical documentation is a must.  - Prior experience in tracking traffic trends & metrics using Google Analytics, Quantcast, Comscore, and exposure to tools like Kissmetrics, usability testing is a plus   - We are looking for high energy, always on individuals who can handle ambiguity, prioritize and get work done from a team of developers, designers, testers and content managers while matching tight budgets.   - Knowledge sharing and solution mindset.   - Manage development tools and systems like bug tracking (we use pivotal trackers), code repositories (GIT/SVN), continuous deployment and integration servers (CCRB).   - Familiarity with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud-based services is a plus.   - Quick learner and enthusiastic about working in collaboration with new technologies/platforms.   - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Masters degree is a plus; MBA is a plus.  - Comfortable with at least one object-oriented programming language.  - Knowledge of XML/XSLT, SOAP Web services/REST based services.  - Knowledge of database technologies with at least 2-3 years of experience.  - Exposure to web design and technologies is a plus.   - Exposure to ERP and CRM systems is a plus.   Job Description:  MiCar relies heavily on technology to render MiCar’s services economical, convenient, fast, safe and fun to use for the user and optimize business functions for higher profitability. As such, MiCar’s Product Manager will own and innovate on the complete product stack: WebApplication, Enterprise Resource Planning Application and Vehicle Tracking System. The Product Manager will be working closely with the management team to drive the product feature set in the right direction.  - Take ownership of product engineering and its delivery as per the product roadmap. Work with the product teams for their development schedules.  - Ruthless focus on thorough documentation across all teams.   - Ruthless focus on functionally testing features and new developments on the product and documenting the same.   - Manage development tools and systems for project progress and bug tracking.  - Study available technologies, draw thorough comparisons and select the right technology/application for the overall product.  - Proactively identifying architectural and feature weaknesses and recommending/seeking appropriate solutions while working with the laid out budget by the management team.   - You don't have to write code, but you need to be technical enough to understand pseudocode, interpret algorithms, run simple DB queries to generate reports, make the odd commits to SVN etc.   - Work with technology teams outside MiCar and co-ordinate product development.  - Traveling 20-30% of the time as per the product needs to meet, guide and work with technology vendors.  Salary Offered:7-10 Lac Per Annum
