Job CODE: 2-PM-APM  Designation: Associate Product Manager (Techno-Functional)  Role Description:  - The Associate Product Manager (Techno-Functional) role at MetricStream is a very challenging role that requires sound technical, business, and cross-functional skills. This role would involve both inbound and outbound aspects of Product Management. On the inbound side, this role would require the candidate to work very closely with the Engineering Team in building world-class GRC solutions. On the outbound side, this role would groom the candidate towards working closely with counterparts from Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and – goes without saying – Customers. This role also offers a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as MongoDB.  Mandatory Skills:  - Hands-on experience in software product development  - Understands APIs  - Develop Wireframes and write Functional Specifications  - Excellent written and verbal communication  Nice to have Skills:  - Cross-functional exposure in working with Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services  - Customer-focused exposure in gathering requirements  Responsibilities:  - Work closely with the Engineering Team and ensure timely product releases  - Educate the Engineering Team on technical and functional requirements  - Participate in Sprint meetings and help resolve issues  - Work closely with the Product Manager and ensure success of the product  - Groom the Product Backlog and help with Requirements Prioritization  - Help with cross-functional activities (Customer demos, Sales and Marketing requests, etc.)  - Work closely with the Professional Services Team and ensure successful deployments  - Be the “go-to” person for the product  Education and Experience:  - Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Science  - Nice to have an MBA in Information Management or equivalent  - Overall 6 to 8 years of professional experience  - With preferably 2 to 3 years of techno-functional experience as a Product/Business Analyst  - We are open to consider candidates with only a strong technical background but with a keen interest to move to Product Management
