Summary of Job Description:

- To promote new products launched by the company.

- To identify high potential areas for sourcing drivers and allocate territories/ regions amongst the sales staff

- To identify and work with external agencies to carry out product promotion activities for eg, pamphlet distribution, canter activities, kiosks in high potential areas, presence in fleet management meets of auto companies etc

- To identify and work with channel partners (for eg, auto dealers, auto dealer sales people) to generate leads/prospects

- To bring in investors to invest in DCO (Driver Cum Owner) , work with auto dealers/ financing companies to develop attractive schemes for new investors

- To motivate, guide/ coach and deliver performance from a team of field representatives and tele-callers

- To design innovative schemes for generating leads including working with automotive companies, designing driver referral programmess, working with driver training schools, skill building agencies etc

- To fine tune the sales pitch/ value proposition, design in field sales aids/ tools, design and fine tune scripts for tele-callers, train the sales team through in field activity, co-detailing of products, closing techniques etc

- To design and operate a sales review/ funnel management process; generate and manage a prospect database

Key Deliverables:

- Achievement of individual and team sales targets

- Achievement of product awareness amongst the target audience (ie drivers and investors)

- Achievement of cost of sales targets

- Periodic and systematic review of the sales management process

- Motivated and high performing sales force

Essential Candidate specifications:

- Having 8-10 years of experience in Direct Sales, Channel sales & responsible for Sales Targets.

- Leading a sales team of 15-20 people and driving them to achieve individual and team target.

- Good communication and man management skills

- Understanding of sales related data and metrics - sales funnel management, conversion efficiency etc

- Exposure to sales promotion and merchandising activities

- Market savvy, with good PR & communication skills

Candidates from Pharmaceutical, Logistics, Travel, Hotel and Insurance companies preferred.
