Role brief & scope:  - We are looking out for a dynamic potential leader who can lead a multi-function local operations team for Mumbai   - As an operations manager, the incumbent will be responsible for handling day to day local operations, technical vigilance and quality, local marketing initiatives and talent management and thus ensure deliver on branch business goals along with the Region Head (West).  - The incumbent will also play a critical role in company's fast paced expansion plans through knowledge transfer on best practices as and when there are requirements and opportunities.   About the candidate:  - The incumbent must be an MBA or an Engineer from a reputed institute/university. He/She must have an overall good academic record with 5-6 years of experience, the incumbent should have worked with reputed organizations in areas of operations management preferably (not confined to) logistics, transportation, pharmaceuticals, E-Commerce, Radio Taxi. He/She should have a team handling experience.  - The candidate must have a strong analytical capability and must be able to provide solutions/alternatives in changing business environment. He/She should have handled complex business situations and delivered under pressure.  - Having Business acumen is must with a depth of analytics and must be aware and agile of local market dynamics. A proven ability to work in cross-functional environments including technology, marketing, business management, customer support etc.   - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and communicate effectively across various stakeholders within the management team across various functions are must. High bias for action and ability to deliver under pressure with strong maturity in actions and behavior. Should be an effective negotiator.   - Experience of managing the blue-collar workforce, ability to deal with IR situations/challenges is highly desirable.   - This position is based in Mumbai and is desirable that the incumbent is able to converse in Marathi. Knowledge of Hindi as a medium of spoken language is must.
