We are looking for an Engineering Manager for the Technology team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

What is expected from me on a day-to-day basis if I join Merilytics-

- Work closely with business stakeholders to balance business and technical objectives

- Work closely with the team to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development

- Engage and manage a team of engineers, including task planning and execution

- Complete technical ownership of products and platforms i.e., from design to delivery stage

- Turn high-level project development objectives into a comprehensive set of stories by leading intensive and collaborative sessions with the teams

What are the pre-requisites and skillsets required to apply for this role-

- Passion for technology, experience in developing complex platforms leveraging various licensed and open source tools and frameworks making robust and scalable applications

- Experience in designing and building highly scalable platforms.

- Interested in working for a high-growth start-up where you will get to work as one of the technical leaders in a team of brilliant people looking to make history

- Very comfortable working on architecture involving - Full stack (Java/J2EE) eco-system, Databases: SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL etc.), NoSQL (MongoDB, Couchbase etc.) or equivalent , Front-end: JavaScript, Angular JS or equivalent frameworks , Big-data stack: Hadoop eco-system including HBase, Hive, Kafka, Storm etc.

- Exposure to working in an Agile framework is a plus

- Self-starter, accustomed to working in a changing environment

- Strong communication skills enabling you to clearly communicate your thoughts/work to the client or internal team

- Exposure to working in an Agile framework is a plus

- Engineering degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) from a premier institute
