RESPONSIBLE FOR:   - IDENTIFYING TRAINING NEEDS FOR VARIOUS LINES OF BUSINESS (UPSKILLING AND SUSTAINED LEARNING)  - APPLY INSTRUCTIONAL METHODOLOGY TO DEVELOP CONTENT FOR LEADESHIP AND SOFT SKILLS TRAINING   - ORIENTATION TO DOMAIN & BUSINESS PROCESSES TO HELP SUPPORT TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENTAL NEEDS  - WORK WITH THE BUSINESS TO LEVERAGE TRAINING IN MEETING BUSINESS GOALS  1 NEEDS ASSESSMENT & CONTENT DEVELOPMENT  - Translate the client's business requirements into training needs and subsequently into the training systems design and articulate it to the team with the help of suitable model.  - Orient self to the business processes to be able to support in gap identification and to provide required solutions that would address the business problem (Service orientation should help provide proactive support in addition to support solicited by business managers)  - Offer creative alternatives for the fulfilling the training needs  - Understanding of knowledge management frameworks for SOP management, building and sustaining knowledge.  - Work closely with business to create and align sustainable, integrated solution.  - Deploy instructional approaches to reinforce performance-oriented learning by including blended learning solutions, simulations and experiential learning in curriculum.  - Stay abreast of training and development research: organizational development, learning theory, motivation theory, new materials, methods, and techniques.   2 PLANNING  - Create, leverage and implement plans for either the development of new or the updating of existing learning. Drive high-level planning exercise.  - Manage time, expectations, and resources, both internal and external.  - Manage and track plans of training delivery or content development  - Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately   - Identify and authorize trainers based on training requirements.  3 TRAINING DELIVERY  - Deliver training necessary to bridge skills gaps in aligned line of business  - Provide on going support to business in reinforcing training in its day-to day applications  - Partner with leadership to ensure the effective delivery and sponsorship of learning and development efforts  - Publish training MIS to business   - Set standards for the team (training process, training communication, training data etc)  - Establish new processes - need based.  - Understand, define and assess completeness of work  4 CONTENT EVALUATION  - Recommend program improvement strategy based on analysis of feedback/evaluation data  - Ensure training and performance improvement programs are effective and utilize solutions to mitigate constrained capacity effectively & efficiently.  Education - Graduate   Experience -   10-14 years of experience, with at least 8-10 years in training delivery role for leadership and other soft skills trainings  - Experience in partnering & collaborating with business in identification of skill gaps and development of training solutions.  - Experience with post training measures to gauge learning effectiveness  - Prior experience of working in a IT/BPO L&D environment  - Knowledge and understanding of end to end training cycle  - Knowledge/understanding of Instructional Design would be an added advantage  Knowledge and skills (general and technical) -   Ability to create/develop program content based on requirements  - Knowledge of evaluations of training programs and learning effectiveness  - Sound written / oral communication skills, conceptual and analytical skills  - Possess passion and drive towards delivery of training programs  - Skills to interface/liaise effectively with internal customers towards needs' identification and conceptualize, develop relevant program content  - Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation  - A strong sense of commitment, meeting timelines and passion towards people capability development are necessary for the role.  - The candidate must possess requisite set of skills needed to effectively conduct people development programs through an interactive learning methodology  - Team handling skills would be an added advantage
