Medium is a boutique healthcare consulting firm. We are not a large firm, and deliberately so. We don- t believe in rigid hierarchy, nor do we want compartmentalization of roles. Even a junior member in our team gets into client facing roles.

Our clients have ranged from large hospitals networks and mid-sized single-specialty hospitals to primary care, diagnostic services and on-line healthcare delivery platforms. We have also had engagements that required us to provide innovative solutions to the unique healthcare needs of the under-privileged. Medium boasts of a core team of professionals from diverse backgrounds that include considerable cross-sectoral experience and deep healthcare knowledge. What are we looking for in a candidate?

For the details, please allow us to add that you should be a graduate with at least an impressive, if not outstanding, academic performance from a well-known institution. A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in a leading firm in consulting, research or analytics is necessary. Significant contributions with proven results in at least some of your prior engagements are a must to apply to us.

What would you be doing at Medium?

At Medium, there is no rigid compartmentalization of roles and responsibilities. You would be involved in practically every aspect of an engagement. You would be responsible for primary and secondary research and analysis to solve a given problem. You would also be doing stakeholder face-to-face interviews - mostly in-depth and qualitative. Stakeholders could range from promoters, CXOs and senior physicians to consumers, technicians and marketing personnel.

You would be equally involved in client facing roles, which could require you to prepare and make presentations to a client's senior team. Given our focus on execution, you would also have the opportunity to interact with a vast variety of agencies - architects, branding, advertising, software solution provider, training organizations, PE/VC funds, PR agencies etc.,

As a senior member of the Medium team, you will also be supporting business development activities and chartering a growth path for the firm.
