Company: One of the Largest/ Top 5 FMCG Company in India  Position: Media Manager - International Business   Location: Corporate Office, Mumbai   Grade: Manager   Top B School or Tier 2 B School - 2008 or 2009 Batch is must  Purpose of the Role:  - Lead and manage mass media for all Company’s brands across Cos International geographies   Qualification & Experience:  - MBA from a Premiere Institute (Preferably 2008 or 2009 Batch)  - Work ex in a Client, media agency or Broadcaster side   - Exposure of handling media in India and International geographies like ( Bangladesh, Middle East , Egypt and Myanmar)   Key Deliverables of the Role:  - Leading & Managing mass media for all Cos brands across International countries   - Managing agency relationships   - Participate, Influence & Support future media roadmaps   Responsibilities:  - Work with various country teams to evolve media strategy basis brand tasks   - Lead the successful implementation & execution of all media plans across brands   - Provide critical inputs for enhancing effectiveness of Co’s media plans   - Develop & maintain benchmark media processes & improve upon the same.   - Utilize available media vehicles effectively & create new opportunities whenever required   - Work closely with the media agencies & co-ordinate all implementation activities   - Monitor regular MIS & drive initiatives for further improvements   - Evaluate competencies, setting & exceeding market benchmarks   - Lead & manage the agency teams to constantly improve quality of output   - Aid & Manage the media buying process with the agency   - Influence choice making of partners & capabilities across countries & regions   - Play an active support role in transferring best practices across markets & brands   Skills and Competencies:  - Actual hands-on exposure to media planning   - Understanding of media markets, both technical & operational   - Ability to work with diverse & multiple teams   - Personal desire & capability to improve existing best practices   - Analytical skills   - Ability to understand brand communication   - Personal Effectiveness   - Leadership capabilities   - Negotiation skills   Reporting Relationships:  - Reports in to Head - Digital Marketing & Media, India & Global   Other Interfaces:  - Various country marketing teams   - Marketing Head - Cos International Business  - Media Agency teams across different geographies   The future of the Incumbent (Value proposition to the candidate):  - Exposure to some of the leading brands in FMCG Industry   - Exposure to multiple media markets in various states of evolution   - The incumbent could move into the role of Media Manager India
