McDonald’s India is looking to recruit Management Trainee based at Chennai.

HRPL is a McDonald’s franchisee with rights to own and operate McDonald’s restaurants in India’s west and south markets.

Job Details:

Primary Responsibility : Develops marketing plans that builds profitability, sales, transactions and market share for market restaurants. Communicates and trains restaurant management and LSM professionals on the proper execution of marketing programs. Key customers include restaurant management, marketing & communications

Typical Work Experience : 3 to 4 years of sales and marketing experience (sales experience of min 2 yrs is a must ) / FMCG or retail or telecom/ business volumes 40 to 50 cr. Internally Strong business oriented performer in operations at the corresponding level.

Key responsibilities area:

Merchandising:

- Vendor management and development with relation to production specifics.

- Identification of material based on happy meal, Ronald McDonald, and birthday party promotions.

- Production of all POP material as and when needed

- Production of all promotional material in coordination with concerned personnel.

Administration:

- Updates and manages the marketing intranet.

- Maintains necessary soft/hard back up systems of all key marketing related information.

- Manages purchase orders, work order contracts, billing and payments with suppliers.

- Manages monthly reconciliation of marketing budgets

Media:

- Assists with execution of all adult and kid outdoors, production coordination and media vendor coordination.

Business Financials & Budgeting:

- Able to interpret key business financial indicators and uses them to make key decisions.

- Understands the how own role impacts cost and uses knowledge to make recommendations or improve on costs.

- Tracks expenditures to monitor conformity with budget projections.

New Initiative & Restaurant operations:

- Understand how McDonald's operate with different system in a profitable way.

- Using Restaurant feedback to improve on future marketing inititiatives / strategies to ensure they are operations friendly
