Position - Regional Sales Manager-Africa   About the organization: Sidi Star General Trading LLC is an international trading company dealing in import/export of F&B products throughout Africa with a special focus on the western region.   a) Reporting to – Chairman / Managing Director of Sidi Star based on Lome.  b) Key job targets;  - Achieve the sales targets agreed with the Chairman for each of the lines of the business in the company  - Achieve sales targets for each country  - Manage the A&P spend as per agreed budget  - Achieve targeted profitability by product line, by country and as a total for the region  c) Key job functions;  - Establish sales targets and import purchase targets for each product line and country coordinating with country distributors and principals.   - Establish marketing / business plans for each country which will include the following;  - Recommendation and appointments of distributors and distributor motivation.  - Whilst working on the field, offer practical suggestions to increase sales and overcome any issues.  Address key areas of marketing and sales as given below;  - Product range  - Pricing policy and price lists  - Distribution plan  - Sales plan  - Order plan  - Financial plan  d) Develop the promotional support program  - Sales training and sales support for Distributors and Distributor staff  - Plan and order and utilize POSM  - Develop promotional programs in coordination with Distributors and principals on ATL (above the line) and BTL (below the line) plans.  e) Visit markets on a regular basis to achieve the following;  - Review sales / stock levels / distribution / merchandising  - Review implementation of marketing activity  f) Lead sales presentations with distributor on major key accounts in both Retail and Food Service.  g) Obtain reports from distributors and forward to Principals on a monthly basis.  - Sales & Stock report  - Marketing activity (brands and competitor)  h) Submit an independent monthly report on each market with regard to sales performance, issues, opportunities and import market information.  Reports to be presented;  - Monthly sales Vs. Budget report by market / by brand  - A&P activity report  - A&P spend Vs. budget  i) Field work  - It is expected that Regional Sales Manager will spend 80% of the time on the filed with the exception of the “planning month” only which time focus will be on annual plan, presentation and approval.  j) Competencies required for the job  - At least 3-7 years of sales experience in FMCG preferably handling multinational or international brands.  - At least 1-2 year should been at Sales & Managerial position.  - Competency in all sales management functions including distributor development, sales planning, sales force managements and motivation and execution of sales promotional support.  - Above average selling skills to lead sales team at key account sales presentations in Retail and Food Service.  - Experienced in preparation of reports, presentation and sales documentation.  - Above average language skills in English and preferably in French.   - Excellent people skills and interpersonal relationship.   - Candidate should be ready to travel across African countries to carry out functions of the job.  k) Education 	 - Preferably with a degree or diploma in sales management, marketing or business management, a general level of education, will also be considered.  l) Age-25- 30 years
